The
6 ½ point pole form is an advanced from that teaches accomplished
students how to extend energy beyond the reach of their own body.
The form utilises the Wing Chun principles of Biu, Tan, Bong,
Fook, Jut, Guan and Huen. The pole is approximately 9ft long and
is tapered at one end.
Regular
practice of the pole form also considerably strengthens the upper
and lower parts of the body, and tests understanding of structure,
balance, coordination and positioning.
